Why do we not call our Olive soap Castile soap?

When most people think of olive oil, they think of the oil that is traditionally used in Mediterranean cuisine and also they think of Castile soap.  Why do we not call our Olive soap Castile soap?

Castile soap originated from the Castile region of Spain and is originally made from pure olive oil. Traditionally castile soap is made using cold process - this means no heat is applied during soapmaking and the required cure time is approximately 6 months.

We also produce our soap from pure olive oil.

So, what is the difference between our olive soap and castile soap?

Production place – Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Type process – hot process, an outside source of heat is applied to make the soap and as a result cure time is only two weeks.

Our Olive Soap is unscented, mild, very soft with delicate cleaning qualities, and has almost no foam. This soap is good for all skin types, especially for sensitive and dry skin.
